I wanted to practice more simple works, and to try a new brush to see if i can have a background style.

It felt nice to be messy with this one. To draw loosely!
It was my day off and after lunch, i believe. This one was made on August 10, 2024. I remember having inspiration to draw something simple! I was thinking of what to draw a few days before on "how to draw simple". I didn't look up any references as i know i wanted a sunset view and buildings. So with that in mind i just went to work!
The brush was the "Scribble Brush". It was Fun to use! I had used this brush one other time, and it worked with the eerie background and when i had completed the work i came to the conclusion that the brush will be great to use for concept art.

During this time i think i just finished playing the game "Master Detective Archives: Rain Code". I absolutely love the game. It got me back into playing games as i remember not playing games for what left like a year. I originally wanted to draw the character Halara for this piece, as that was the character i was drawing in the speedpaint. The plan was to draw them with a bunch of birds on the power line. But that didn't feel right while i was sketching her out..
So after looking at the bird i pick one of my favorite Pokémon "Chatot". Then i pick a few of my other favorite Pokémon, and that felt so much better to draw! It gave me the "Evening Afternoon" emotion that i had wanted
Drawing and coloring the Pokémon was so much fun. The line art and color felt really good. I didn't have much trouble with this piece, which was nice

I was proud of the drawing when i had completed it. For this work i had actually made something that i had a goal for!
It felt purposeful.
